My favorite line ever from Madden came in a game last year. I cannot remeber the exact game, but I will never forget the statement. It was a third and long and the statement was
"This is a great situation for any defense because they have the offense backed up. The offense is now forced to throw the ball on this play in order to stay in the game..., but they do have a running back and could try to run it. I guess the defense has to be ready for anything on this play."

lol...i love the "he went up the ******" comment, but yea. I play 04 (soon to play 07) and he states a lot of obvious things...about how the linemen are the biggest guys on the field (well duh, you dont put a skinny cb to block a 275 lb man) and about to get a touchdown, i need to move the ball.

I don't believe most of these are even true. I would even wager that none of them are correct.
For example: 90% of the game is half mental is a misquote of Yogi Berra from more than 50 years ago (The real quote is "90% of the game is mental, the other half is physical")
