during the Holidays it is all up to how you are feeling, meaning if your in the spirit. It is nice to have someone to cuddle up with close to the fire or go out on a ski trip with. The joy of gift exchange is always exciting and refreshing. But there are other times when just don't feellike taking the time out to shop for someone else. But really I would rather be in a relationship aka married during the holidays. I feel teased when everyone around me is enjoying time with their significant other and i'm all alone.

Tough one. I am married and single for the holidays. My husband works out of state. But, ultimately I think it's great to have a partner during the holiday season.

Remain single just as I am. Holidays do not want to make me get married. I have family and friends and am content with that.

At this point I would rather be single.. I always thought I wanted to be married during the holidays, but now that I am I'm finding it's not all it's cracked up to be. My husband is a misserable *** and said I ruined xmas because I spent all our money on the kids and we don't have enough to go to CT to spend xmas with his family, but he's the one who went snowboarding and lied about how much money it was going to cost ($50) knowing that money was supposed to go towards the kids xmas and the money I ended up spending on the kids came from my mother because we were broke.. and only 2 weeks ago he went out and spent $50 on snowboarding boots.. but he says I'm the selfish one...

Only "holiday" it's a bother to be single is Valentine's Day.
Unless you don't leave where you live, it's almost impossible to avoid it. Co workers getting gifts, talking about their plans with their significant other, people walking around and driving with bouquets and gifts... it's a day set up for having someone, and if you don't, it's a constant reminder that you don't have anyone.

I've been both and I'd definitely rather be married. Nothing like waking up with your sweetie and enjoying the holidays when we are both on vacation....
