Because the limits of their tolerance extend only to the point where you begin to disagree with their world view and agenda. Then, all bets are off and they try to label you as a racist, or a homophobe, or a sexist, blah blah blah.

those i've got met by way of the years seem to me to be snobby elites who seem down their nostril at people and are too conceited to even understand they are doing that....i'm useful there are a number of exciting loving, laid back persons over there...yet I even have in no way met any....on the different hand, in case you opt to fulfill people such as you defined, minus the liberal area, basically pass to any small city experience...a bull roast, a crab dinner celebration, and small city carnival...you ought to have the possibility to fulfill the fairly some nicest, respectful, good hearted people in the international...i'm going to take those people over any eu any day.

I know, that linked post is just so intelligent, is'nt it.
You know, I believe the man is doing the best he can with what is occuring in the world.
What I like the best is that posts such at that do nothing to address any issues. Just bash the President. It would be refreshing to see posts from these haters that read more like:
"I disagree with what the president is doing on issue X, and here is my proposal to fix it...."

hate is relativism
hate is related to what you hate.
it's okay to hate lies, stealing, rape, unjust wars, gigotry etc.
it's not okay to hate people
it's okay to punish people
punishment does not equal hatred
reward does not equal love
find out about good and evil as an absolute truth.

If you hugged a tree and loved the environment, you would also hate Bush and his administration.
But, hate is a strong word..so I try not to use it ....better to say "dislike" or "appalled by" or disgusted by Bush and everything he stands for, his values, policies, and decisions and ignorance. Makes Texas and the U.S. look very bad.

I heard a statistic last week on Fox News that said "78% of registered democrats are not happy with America as a whole."
...and..."Only 21% of registered republicans are not happy with America as a whole."
That should answer the questions.
