I admire popular peopel like my best friend Nic**, she has a boob job is sexy & wears all the clothes that are "IN"-style, she can afford them she is a exotic dancer, she can afford about anything. Unfortunatly for me I havnt been financially blessed like her, I love fashion and clothes but can hardly ever afford anything due to having to make ends meet! I don't like the way I'm dressed it doesn't reflect me or how I see myself. Peopel say that you have to start with a positive attitude but now I don't look like I belong with the popular peopel anymore now I look average & poor & I hate that! I used to hang with all the "IN" peopel & now since I moved to the city I have no friends at all & the peopel I would like to be friends with would never talk to me the way I look now. & Don't ask me why I would care to be friends with shallow peopel, they just seem to be care free and have fun most of the time & go shopping & party & drink..can anybody relate to this? What is your opinion on this

I'm sorry but i have to disagree with you, just because someone has less money to dress and spend with the " IN" things doesn't necessarily means that they are less nicer and warm hearted the the ones that have more money.People that now how hard it is to get something that they really want, appreciated more.

I can relate, I actually feel the same way. I can't afford all the clothes that I used to be able to afford because of the situation I was put in by someone I know. I was not successful but I was able to stay in style. Now I shop at the goodwill and I feel like a bum because it isn't really who I am. But Do not let anyone make you feel worse about yourself. Some situations just happen, deal with it. You can log into my sight and I will make you my friend. I don't speak to shallow people, I ignore them.

I think you can't spell people. I also think that you seem to be entering a cycle of self loathing. You are right, what are you doing trying to be friends which such shallow people? I don't have much money, Ok I get by but we have 2 teenage daughters and they cost quite a bit. I have a friends who are completely loaded, I have friends that haven't got a pot to pe in it's the person that counts, not what they have. Learn to love yourself and other people will love you too.

I think that you are basing your self-worth and happiness on material possessions and not who you are on the inside. You can strip, win the lottery, have the nicest house, cars, clothes etc. but with the mindset that you have you will never truly be happy and have the "most fun."

Yeah, she is a stripper. That's a very noble profession. Stop hanging out with trash and maybe one day you will be able to afford clothes you want.

Whatever. You may "think" those "shallow" people you want to be friends are foot-loose and fancy free BUT none of them can sleep at night because creditors keep "knocking on their door"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Think about that.
