I don't. Right now there are U.S. citizens who work minimum wage jobs and are living in vans (or out in parks). You see it all the time in the big cities here in Florida. I talk to these homeless families and vets in the park. Homelessness is worsening here. Instead of Bush playing Mayor of Baghdad, he should take care of matters at home first. I am sure there are better uses of tax dollars than this war.

Bushville's a bigger than ever accross the country & will be on the rise with home foreclosers caused by the past 5-10 recent years of adjustable screw-over rate plans & plain paying to much for a mortgage many Americans fell prey too! Also Unemployment rates you hear in the media are totally inacurate these figures ONLY reflect people collecting benifits NOT who needs to work! When any offical is confronted on this subject they spin, deny or try to change the conversation etc. Rice is a token airhead along for the free ride non-leader type! Oh for the past 10 years living in Florida over half of that time i have had no job or income "NO WELFARE" but loss of my meger lifesavings paying my mortgage & bills! You go to workforce ,Veteran representatives contact what ever agencies to seek-out getting appropiate placement its a joke, these people are laughing at you i.e. hey i got my job what you think this is attitude? Everything is phony & fake and only desperate willing to work cheap "mostly immigrants are getting job placement" wow thanks a lot to our fellow treasonistic citizen employers! Birdsnake why don't you take it to a higher level where slaves pay the employers for the distinct privilege of working for them!

The purpose of an investment is to show a profit, I've yet to hear how the U.S. is benefiting, or expects so to do, in ways worth the cost in money and lives.
One thing, the President's job is to defend the Constitution, not the Country, that is what he took oath to do when sworn in, and he is forsworn a dozen times over to his oath of office.

In US people are addicted to quick fixes to all problems.

I personally believe that if the Middle East will continue to be as anti-democratic as it is right now, in 20 years, when the oil prices will be unbelievably high, we will have much more homeless people in the US. Regardless of how much money US will spend right now on homeless in Florida.

And then we will share our ideas not on yahoo answers, but out in the streets next to a fire burning in a rusted oil barrel.

what that really means, is she doesn't worry about how much in tax dollars it costs, because it is a good investment for the people who are profiting off of it.

Hesse, Iran is a democracy, only problem is, its a democracy where the elected leaders answer to the head of the religion, kind of like what religious nuts want here in America.

"If ye love wealth greater than liberty, the tranquillity of servitude greater than the animating contest for freedom, go home from us in peace. We seek not your counsel, nor your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you; May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen."
Author: Samuel Adams

What?!?

The poor's job is to find a way to make a better living. The president's job is to protect our country. Someone's not doing their job and it isn't the president.

Give the bums your money and quit offering them mine.
