I already got my parents a book each. I was originally going to hook them up with a movie pass and gift certificate to their favorite restaurant. That fell through when my sister couldn't pick up the tickets. :-( Any ideas for last minute gifts? I'm looking for a joint gift. Thanks for your help.

A Massage gift certificate.

If you're parents are still married, you could always get an old photo of them together, or with the whole family and have it reprinted in a new frame. You can scan it at Walmart and print it in different sizes. When in doubt, give from the heart. Good luck.

Maybe write them each a letter telling them how much they mean to you? That is all I can think of. Anything else would really just be junk you already have around the house. Oh, if you have some epsom salt and some perfume you could make some bath salts for your mom. (not regular table salt though... has to be epsom) you could also maybe find a recipe online for a sugar body scrub. See if you have the ingredients.

I think the gift certificate is a good idea. (Their favorite restaurant).

Why don't you make a little certificate on the computer that says that you'll cook them dinner at home one night? And then make it all fancy with a nice table cloth and candles and stuff?
