To get the Wii or To get the PS3?

Question

I am a videogame freak! I love them. I am 13 and i want a new Videogame system. I want either the Wii or PS3. I don't care about graphics or the look of the system, i care about quality. Will the PS3 not play certan games and DVDS like me PS2. I don't want it to screw around. I want QUALITY, is that so much to ask 4? Please help and give me your answers

I would say definitely get the PS3 it came with many improvements , besides you say you had a PS2 so if there are games that you loved at PS2 they most probably work on PS2 but they sure won't work on Wii . for more info I would suggest that you comapre them yourself at amazon games and toys store http://astore.amazon.com/toygame-20 and see the features of each and then you can easily make your mind on which one to get.

I would most definitely get a Wii before I get the PS3, especially since it seems you would rather have quality games than great graphics. The Wii has introduced an entirely new dimension to video games, while PS3 is just going to be more of the same. The SIXAXIS controller that the PS3 introduced as a competitor to the Wii isn't nearly as advanced as the Wiimote's sensor technology, so don't think that the PS3 games will compare to Wii ones. Also, the $500 or $600 price tags on PS3s are just absolutely insane. I've seen quite a few online polls that rank Wii above or even in popularity with XBOX 360, and with PS3 at a distant 3rd. The popularity of a system is a sure sign of whether or not it will survive very long. I see PS3 going the way of the Dreamcast soon.

Wii would be the way to go. The PS3 you should wait until a year after it's launch. All the bugs and problems ill be fixed by then. Right now the PS3 playback isn't working right and the CPU processing chip is having problems as well. Not to mention the other random problems that could occur. For 600 it is a risky investment. The Wii I have not heard of having any problems with the hardware. It would be the best way to go for now. Especially since the new Zelda game is out. Not to mention many other great games past that gem. Wii now and PS3 next year. With you enjoy games as much as you do, you might already have an Xbox 360 so that is a given. Wii would be your best bet, it is 249.99 and a great set of launch games. Zelda, Red Steel, Marvel Alliance, Call of Duty 3, and many others you are sure to find enjoyable.

Wii all the way. The PS3 doesn't have many good games. I don't own either, but i want a wii more than the PS3. And When you play PS2 games on a PS3, they play really crappily. PS2 games on a PS2 have much better visualness (is that a word?) then on a PS3. Nintendo always comes out with fun games no matter who they are intended for. One time i went to Target to get some things, and soon i saw Mario Super Strikers, and i stayed there playing it for close to a half an hour. The games are fun even though they are intended for younger people. And wii Sports looks so fun. It is something you can play wiht your whole family.

I would personally get the Wii if you are deciding between the two. But, I would bypass both really and get the 360. It has the best features of any console right now. The online play is awesome and has many great games that will keep you entertained for hours. Well worth the money...

get neither get the xbox 360. xbox 360 has quality great games and features. right now ps3 and wii have bugs and problems that havent been worked out yet and they have no good games. i have played all three and the xbox 360 by far is the best.

I guess the ps3 becasue the wii can be hard but maybe u can get use to it so do u know now?

if you are a rich gamer, get both.
if you are not. i think wii is better. ps3 is like a better version for ps2, but wii is something new

Wii totally it is way cheaper and it is a fun experience. PS3 are overrated.
