You can get bargains from the outlets on St-Hubert and Chabanel streets, Saturday mornings.
Really cheap stuff at Salvation Army, Value Village and (if it's still around) Renaissance Montreal. Used obviously but babies grow so fast they aren't used much!

Also there's an Osh Kosh B'Gosh sale twice a year, but I don't know how to find out when/where.

I used to shop at the Osh Kosh sale (I would get an invitation from my kids' pre-school), but honestly these days the easiest place to get kids' clothes for cheap is at Old Navy. There is a big one located right downtown in the Eaton Centre.
