Are you a rock-n-roll parent who still rocks out? Metal for the freeway, alternative for around town, even some dance and hip-hop- geez! Isn't it our JOB to do this? OF COURSE!

I LOVED ur question!! Heck yeah i rock out and i make my 12 and 13 yr old daughters listen to it! Although they r now getting into it, my 12 yr old now rocks out with me while my 13 yr old turns down the music and says "Mommmmmmmmm!!" Cracks me right up, but its a fun way to bug ur kids. I know in time it will be the other way around so im getting my "jabs" in now while i still can!! Thanks for the laugh and Merry Christmas!

Usually it's my kids singing to me in the car... and when I know a song well enough I sing along with them! Sometimes it's funny to them that I know all the words to their favorite songs... that's because their songs originated in my teenage years.. not theirs!
It's pretty cool when parents and kids can sing along together!

I get my step daughter to sing along with me- I think singing in public and out loud is a good sign of high self esteem.

Just because we became parents did not mean we lost all sense of MUSICAL enjoyment !!!! I say it is not the kids JOB to deside to take music out of their parents lives !!!!!! Everyone needs music in their lives. White, Black, Irish, Mexican, Male, Female and Yes... PARENTS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
