What did you do on your last Birthday?

It's my birthday today and I want to know what to do?

It was my B day yesterday and I stayed in bed and cried all day.....I broke up with my fiance last Saturday.

How unfair is this... Last year I turned 21, I am the assistant manager at my job. The week of my birthday my boss decides to take a vacation! So I got stuck working her 6am shift! Worked from 6am-4pm on my birthday, went out for a few hours and celebrated, but had to be in bed early to get up at 5am to work at 6am the next day!!!!!

I'll tell you what I did. It was midnight, and my attorney and I were in some run-down hotel somewhere in one of the Carolinas. We'd arrived late; the A/C in the black-cherry car - some American piece of junk we had to replace in Savannah - had broken down and we'd sweated through the rest of the drive. I cannot tolerate hot climates and the temperature was ranging somewhere above 100 degrees throughout the South. The South! In August! What was I thinking? What kind of madness had possessed me to go drive down to Florida with someone whose idea of good music was a pile of Janet Jackson albums put on incessant repeat? In this kind of weather you needed something fast, something that would put the breeze in your hair even if you didn't manage to wrangle a convertable from the ape at the rental station. Something with a real drum beat to argue down the sun, to pulse in your veins along with the heat and to drum the sweat out of you.

So midnight, and we're somewhere - damned if I know where, some no-name town along I-95 - and we're starving. My attorney made some phone calls as I stared at the brain-dead prints of half-dead tulips on the wall, stained brown with nicotine on the bottom and hanging there only because falling would take too much of an effort.

My attorney hung up the phone. "There's nothing for it. The only place open in this godforsaken town is a Waffle House."

Dear god, a Waffle House. After midnight, eating waffles and other people's cigarette smoke and baking in the deathly summer heat...there's a birthday. Purge it from the memory! No more of this nonsense! The dregs of humanity and the bottom of a deep-fryer! Madness - better to starve.

On my last birthday I turned 24 and I decided I was thankful for 24 wonderful years, so I went and got 24 meals and handed them out to homeless people in my area. It made me feel great and hopefully brightened the days of other people.

Well, I turned 22 on my last birthday. And on the night that my boyfriend was taking me out for my birthday he proposed. Now on my actual birthday....I was off work so i laid around all day and did nothing and loved it.

i spent a day out with my boyfriend.

we went to the theme park and act like young children again (:
then at night, we went to have dinner at a posh dinning restuarant.

but i guess most people now a days would like to spend their birthday partying again.
