My hamster always seems to get his ears up straight away whenever my younger sister plays Crazy Frog or that "Chacarron" by El Chombo.

I just purchased a new puppy, and after much resource, because I was needing to leave the puppy alone 2 hours, i didn't want the puppy to feel lonely. I found on numerous accounts that yes they do like music and the kind that most animals prefer is the kind that is soft, most mentioned was opera.

Yes they do. Some even sing along with songs. My mother has a dog who will sing along to Spanish music.
Some animals even love to watch t.v. and movies too I might say.

My horse loves to listen to country music. When I'm not doing serious riding with him I turn on the radio and we just kinda ride around the round pen or arena. I also turn it on while I saddle him. It seems to have helped him become less jumpy around loud, random noises too. One time while I was brushing him and I left to get gloves in the house, and when I came back he was bobbing his head to the beat of the music.

nicely, animals are no longer rational beings. In that admire they have not have been given any concept of numbers or counting so rhythm isn't something they might technique. you may practice an animal to react to the song ala a Pavlov's test, yet I doubt they take exhilaration in it.

My four month old puppy does. So far she likes everything except for Rap. At least she has some taste in music.
Sometimes, she will sit and look at the radio and nod her head to the christmas carols. This is not going to work in summer, so I hope she broadens her likes.
Her taste in edibles is non-existent. She eats EVERYTHING!

I used to have a dog that loved Billy Joel's River of Dreams. Every time it came on, he would run to the radio and sit with his head tilted to one side and I swear he was smiling.
