My period has always been regular since I can remember, as long as I take my birth control pills. But yesterday I got period and it's not expected for another 10 days or so. It was very heavy but then through the night I began to experience the worst cramping I've ever felt, as well as pain in my lower back and sides. Please if you know what is happening let me know. I went for a pap test a week and a half ago so if anything would have been wrong there i would know. right??

Although you are on the pill, it is still possible to get pregnant. Talk to your doctor as soon as possible. Although it is not likely, it is possible that you were pregnant and had a miscarrage. Your cramping, and pain sound typical of a miscarrage. Seriously, see your doctor as soon as possible!!
