Your thoughts?? Illegal immigrants...?

I am sooooo sick of people saying they hate illegal immigrants.(If you are going to say that, don't even give me a f*****g answer!!!) Half of my family and my boyfriend now are all illegal. And I ask him constantly...Why did you come here if Mexico was so great?? (He always tells me it's the best place ever) And his answer...sometimes he says I don't know and sometimes he says because I make so much more money here. I mean we have everything we need, great apartment, we have two Cadillacs, I mean what is the big deal??? Seriously, he pays taxes just like everyone else. But some people have no idea. My boyfriend hasn't seen his mom or younger siblings in over 8 years!! Some people think it's so easy to come here, but it's hell and illegals are not a drain on the economy. The President just increases minimum wage so now Americans can make even more money. I really don't think people should say "hate them" unless they have experienced knowing one and hearing their feelings. PLZ!!

People are so ignorant! Because at one time everyone was an immigrant. I mean hello, the Indians were the only people here until the pilgrims. So actually everyone families were illegal immigrants at one time because back then there wasn't a government yet!

We do do not hate them, , being illegally here means they have broken the law and entered the USA illegally, and that is what the complaints are about Many think they should enter legally, and work, like all the other Immigrants that came to this country did, and no one complains about them. These feelings the illegals have are the consequences of their illegal status, and the"Big Idea" is to enter legally and obey the laws of the USA Merry Christmas

My boyfriend was also illegal and he is a perfect example of how Americans lump all hispanics into one category. He has never even been to a hospital (how they say illegals close down hospitals) and he pays taxes (duh, anyone working pays taxes) and he didn't get the luxury we get to get tax refunds! He has never been arrested, doesn't drive b/c he has no license and he doesn't intentionally break the law, but he get put down the same way all the others do. He is the hardest working man I have ever known. My Dad was a hard worker, but my bf works even harder. That takes alot for me to say that b/c my Dad was my hero.

The only problem I, personally, have is with the hispanic ladies who come here supposedly to work but they have baby after baby and drain the welfare system. If they are coming here to work, fine, but if they want to have all their babies, go home and raise them.

Other than that, I have no problems. I agree with the above posters, if lazy-assed Americans would work more, they'd be no jobs for the illegals.

Quite often those who make the loudest noise complaining about illegal immigrants are the ones most likely to hire an illegal immigrant to work for them at very, very low wages.

why don't they go through the legal process?

The "legal" immigrants are not being stupid. They are simply obeying the laws of that land. PS it is criminal to break the law of any land and Illegal Immigrants show a "blatant" disregard of the law.

understandably, most Americans are just very frustrated! cause it seems nothing is being done about that issue.

he stole an american's social security card number to pay those taxes. they're nothing but a drain on society. and if he misses his family tell him to go home.

and europeans were sent here (to survive on their own) as a form of punishment. like jail. we're a country built on blood and crime.

update: i'd give them bus fare to go home. see i'm helpful. i don't hate anyone because i believe hate is a strong word that gets tossed around a lot. i'm just sick of people trying to get sympathy for a person who is essentially stealing in a country that is not their's and still reps their old country. if you love mexico so much go home. we don't care to hear about your mexican pride when you're draining our resourses.

tdc923: women draining the welfare system, yes. but about the jobs comment, it's not about lazy americans not working, it;s about competing wages. those lazy americans you talk about are worrying about being able to survive. isn't it nice that mexicans can come up here and work and make all this money to send down to their families in mexico. i'm sorry but i'm pretty sure the cost of living down there is much much much much cheaper than the cost of living in america. minimum wage in america is a joke. minimum poverty more like it. but you could live great on that pitence in mexico.

I say, at least illegal immigrants WANT to work :) Most Americans are too lazy to do the extra work that illegals do.

If so many Americans weren't so lazy and sponging off the gov't, maybe we wouldn't have an illegal problem.

I bet your family abandon you. My aunt dropped out of college and move out of her parents house so she can be with this illegal man. They lose their apartment, they were living on street for few years. They have a daughter who die from SIDS, the boyfriend got shot and killed by cop when he got drunk and tried to fight the police. My aunt was in mental hospital for a while so she can get herself together after all this stuff. In end she die few years afterward from medicine overdose.

Basically illegal are a bad news for american in every possible way. They ruin property value, they never take care of the house they lived in, they're often drive to do lot of crimes, and many other things.
