So, my freezer isn't as cold as it used to be. I turned up the dial in my fridge (the only dial) and it's better...but not best. My
ice cream still melts & then refreezes which sucks. But on top of that!!! My veggies freeze in the fridge. a frozen salad is just not the way to go.
So Yahoo...what is a girl to do? Can this be fixed or do I need a new one?

I would clean it out, amazing what a little dusting of the motor can do to help it run efficiently

This used to happen as the heating element burned out. It would cause the coils to become filled with ice and not be able to send the freezing air to the freezer... 45-50 dollars to replace... Better than replacing the entire fridge... was for us...

maybe there is too much dust collected between the coils( at the back of the fridge), use vacuum to clean the coil.
