Well ya theres alot of dances but theres also alot of different types of one dance like Salsa!!!!!

theres tons of types!!! personally i take ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, modern, lyrical, and irish step dancing. but there are so many types out there to try! =)

jazz is a hip hop and ballet mixed
hip hop is funky and do alot of jumps
ballet is a soft slow calm dancing
lyrical is ballet and jazz mixed into soft and funky called so-funky
point takes alot of foot strenth you have to do ballet for atleast 2 years i went on point when i was 10 years old

basically there are two types- One you do horizontally and the other you do vertically. I like vertical dance better.

rumba, cumbia, salsa, tango, hip-hop, jazz, ballet, irish dancing, tap dancing, contemporary, swing and many more...it all depends on your style..the music you like and what you are willing to learn

There are hiphop, jazz, modern, ballet, traditional dance.
I think there are more than that.. perhaps freestyler too! =D
