A year is the longest that most doctors would make you try before testing you for things. I definitely think two years is too long for a 28 year old. Make an appointment with your doctor so that he can run some tests on you. You could have blocked tubes or may not be ovulating. Those are easy fixes.

Good luck.

Have you had all the tests done?? You and your spouse?

We just found out we can't have children after 4 years of trying! My husband has NO sperm, that would have been good to know 4 years ago! Get the tests done ASAP. At least if there is a problem the doctors can fix you won't have to wait any longer, or it will put you at ease also to know there is no problem.

Even fertility doctors will tell you only 20% of females get pregnant in the firs 3 years of trying. I know it is not what you want to hear, but just keep praying and God will bless you with your child.

We will be adopting ours soon! One way or another you will be a parent!

Good luck!

You will most likely conceive within 3 to 6 months if you are hitting your ovulation date when trying to get pregnant. This is really key. If you are not hitting your ovulation date then it could take up to a year if you do not have fertility issues(or you sig other). After one year of really trying you need to consult a doctor who will run tests to determine if there is a problem. Seriously though, speaking as a mom , you need to hit those ovulation date. Have frequent sex around this time and your chances are around 65% each month. Go buy an ovulation kit today and get started.

2 years does seam along time but dont give up, go to your doctors and get all the tests done to make sure everything is alright if you have not already done so, but most of all try and be relaxed and not get stressed over this as stress is alot of the time the main factor of people not getting pregnant because they are trying to had and not enjoying the experience anymore it just becomes a means to an end, make it about you and your husband not just a way to get pregnant, it worked for me.

If you've been trying for 2yrs you will need to see a fertility specialist.
I was only 25 when we had been trying for our 2nd child for close to 3yrs. I saw a speciliast and found out I had PCOS. Within the first month of getting treated I got pregnant and we now have our 2nd baby.

a friend of mine just went to see a consoltant and asked the same question. the doctor said that they should try for 1 year and if nothing then they should seek medical help. So it sounds like you should go get yourself and husband to see a firtility doctor and see if that is the problem. Good luck
