A lot of times women hint at things that they wouldn't mind getting, unfortunately men don't often listen. Everybody likes to receive gifts and the fact that she is looking means she is expecting something, ask her what she would like.
Try flowers with a gift card at a clothing shop she likes, a day at a spa (manicure, pedicure), a massage session, even a photo of you and the kids framed. Perhaps plan a trip to LA to visit her parents sometime. Plan a weekend getaway for just the two of you or the entire family.
Listen to her when she is talking about her day, she may tell you in conversation what she would like.

Maybe you should capitalize on the fact that she is all about her kids. I have a friend like this and here are a few gift ideas that have worked in the past.
1. Mother's ring -- Even though she doesn't like jewelry, mothers tend to love these. It is aring that has the birthstone of each of her children in it
2. A digital camera and a scrapbooking kit -- This will allow her to have all of the tools she needs to keep a scrapbook for each of the kids as they grow up...people with little kids tend to really get into this
3. Why don't you get her Merry Maids for a month. All moms sometimes find themselves overwhelmed and adding household chores to the list can be frustrating -- getting her the present of a housekeeper once a week or so for a month might take some of the stress off

What should you buy for her? A gift certificate to a spa. Tell her she is such a great mom that you want to pamper and reward her, by giving her a day to herself. Tell her that while she is gone, you will watch the kids, make dinner and clean the house. Make sure you do the above, even if you have to buy take out, and have your mom help you clean the house.
What is your wife's love language? My guess it is acts of service. Give her cards that you make that she can spend, like a back rub, foot massage, a date night that you set up, doing the dishes while she reads the paper, giving the kids a bath at night, buy her a book like the five love languages and read it together. My guess is she wants quality time with you and to know that you love and care for her.

She is tuff!
Breakfast in bed on Christmas day for her. On the tray, give her a teddy bear. Have the teddy bear holding a new photo of the kids in a nice frame. You could also add a gift ceriticate to Victoria Secret to address her as a woman outside of being the mother.
Good luck!

Does she like sewing, doing jig saw puzzles, puzzle books, drawing, /painting? If so, Get her things (not cheap) that have to do with this. You could also get her a gift card or two for places that she likes to shop, so that she can pick it out for herself. Men think that all woman like jewelry, but this isn't true! Alot woman would rather have something that they would use every day or that will improve their favorite room in the house.

If she is that into the kids, maybe she could take up scrap booking. I think she might enjoy that. Maybe you could go to a crafts store and get her a beginners kit, or software for the computer. You might just be giving her that hobby! Merry Christmas!

By her a "family ring" or "family necklace" and she will love it.
A family ring has birthstones for the month each member of the family (or just the kids) were born.
A family necklace has little people with bodies made of the birthstone of the family members-or just the kids.

If she is all about the kids (as I am with my 3 kids), I suggest you buy a DVD player with which she can use in her vehicle. It will make the kids happy, be less distraction for her when driving and she'll be happy overall.

i read your description and if you can afford it would get her a divorce for christmas. if you cannot and you are smart just buy her a couple of cases of beer. then you can join in and get plastered with her. if she used drugs like crack of something like that get her a couple of rocks to watch the playoffs and drink that cod beeer. get her intested in football with some cock-and-bull story and make bets with her. little dollar bets always set it so she wins. that will keep her at bay so you can relax and enjoy life. marriage is a ***** isn't it. lol
