I believe my postman may be stealing my x-mas cards. Each year, my grandmother sends me a crisp 100.00 bill, and for the past two years I did not receive it. I receive all of my other cards, however those cards only contain x-mas greetings and no cash. Coincidently, my other brothers and sisters have not received their x-mas cards the last two years either. My grandmother INSISTS she sent them to us all, however none of us got them. Should I contact someone at the post office? I find it hard to believe that postmen in 4 different states could be in on this conspiracy, but it needs to stop!!!

use money orders man, that way this wont happen.
I would contact the postmaster- the computerized machines tabulate the flow of mail to your house and out basicly by barcode measures...if he did that, it CAN be found out.
He could go to the bighouse for that.

I wouldn't think it's your postman that is stealing your money because of the same situation in other states, you do have that right. It may be that you grandmother is forgetful-showing signs of early alzhemier's. I would suggest that you have your grandmother send your next $100.00 certified. Tell your grandmother that the postman will pick her gift up at her house. You just send her the certified envelope she needs so things will be effortless for her. Fix it where all she needs to do is put that money in that envelope. That's the sure fire way to find the problem. I had a problem with a lady selling me some DVD's from ebay and she told me that she never received my dvd that was damaged when I wanted an exchange but I sent it certified where she had to sign for it and strangely all my DVDs ended up getting to me and they worked this time. I turned her in to the postmaster general though.

Without being rude, it is kind of hard to, arent you up on the technology?, the news? You have the ability to send moneyorders, western Union, moneygram, all those things because of issues like this, there have been incidents in the past where postmen have taken money, that is why they implemented the technology, I think you need to have a talk with grandma there and tell her that if she wants to send you money she needs to go about it a different way, right now there are a lot of people out there not getting their christmas money because of post offices, if you really need it, try another way!!

Go to a photo supply store, and get some siver nitrate solution- soak the bill in the solution- when it's exposed to light, it turns black-and let the bill dry- if the mailman's the thieving lowlif that you think he is, check his hands- if they're black-he's busted. it worked on someone when I was in the Navy---he went to a court-matial with two black eyes and a broken nose...
PS- check with whoever you buy it from to make sure you're using a safe level of concentration
