He has claimed that if we do not adopt the "Virgil Goode" stance on immigration, that we would have many more Muslims in office. If in fact more Muslims were elected, that is the choice of the voters. Or does this man propose taking away the frnchise from anyone who would "vote Muslim?" Get real! Do you think if Goode apologized it would matter, I dont think he would really mean it, he would probably only do it out of pressure, and nobody likes a half assed apology.
I think he's forgotten that the unabomber and timothy mcveigh are american born and bread and caused so much harm to their beloved country.

Virgil Goode is right. Read the Koran. The expressed desire of Islam is world domination and extermination of all non-believers. This is the book Ellison will hold in his hand and swear allegiance on. Islam does not allow itself to be put second. By Ellison's own admission, Islam will have to come first, America second.

I doubt that he believes there is a danger that Congress will be overrun with Muslims. He is trying to solidify his power base with anti-Islam rhetoric. VA contains many military and vets who have fought in the middle east and this may resound with them.

Apparently he is so ignorant he doesn't realize that the person he is criticizing is a citizen, born right here in the U.S. of A., and converted to Islam in college.
He should realize that the U.S. was founded on religious freedom.
