Depends, if he is in touch with his feminine side then he'd love the flowers (I'm not saying gays) if the guy knows what flowers mean to you then he'd take the whole flower gesture in the same manner as you would have on reception of the flowers.
But personally think all guys like flowers its just that they wouldn't go flower happy like we ladies do. SO GO AHEAD, GIVE HIM FLOWERS, I WOULD.

No, i don't think he would. This is because I'm a guy and I don't think I would want to get flowers from a girl. Something less girly like a nice potted plant for my apartment would be nice but it wouldn't be as all out girly as flowers.

girl thing, my ex bought me flowers and sent them to my work on Valentine's Day one year. All the office women made a big deal of it and I was kind of embarrassed. So yea I think its a girl thing.
