Can I browse teh web and watch films and play mp3's on both?

LOL. It is funny that people are saying PSP is better when it is getting its butt whupped by the DS Lite. And great games? Compared to the DS there are way more fun games to play on DS. The PSP while nice has long loading times and most of its games are just PS2 stripped games. The DS has a great interface with its touch screen and even EA has said that PSP is not doing well and they will begin to develop more for the DS than PSP. I would get a DS Lite. It is fun, there are tons of games for it and it plays GBA games as well. The PSP is due for a redesign with a hard drive built in(which will make it much better than it is now) so if you really want one I would wait for the upgraded version or you'll be wishing you had.

PSP, you can play games in very good quality for a handheld console, it also allows you to browse the net, watch movies, listen to music. Things that the DS does not have. The only upside to the DS is the pokemon games if you like them.

I had this dilemma several weeks ago because my 9 year old daughter wanted a handheld console for her Christmas,so after a couple of investigations i thought the psp would be more suitable for mid teens and up because of its far superior spec which might have been to confusing for a 9 year old so i got a great deal on a pink ds lite package(129.99) from toys r us and bought the new WEB BROWSER (29.99)acc that is WI FI so she can surf the net

Sony PSP is better than DS Lite in power, graphics, and you watch movies and listens to music except DS Lite.

Hi,
Say if u r over 10 u should get a psp, they r kinda more for little children. psp r more enhanced and they have ten times better grafics. i just brought 1 and i gave it to my sis cause it has realy boring games on it comin from a 13 year old point of view.

PSP is by far superior. More powerful, and you can watch films, unlike the DS.
The DS is more geared to children.

if u want to watch movies and listen to music u can do it on both. u need to buy this thing (i dont no wat its called) for about $70 to do it on the DS. PSP has better graphics and u dont need to buy the thing, but with the money u save if u buy a DS it'll still be less if u buy both the thing and the DS.
