Playstation 3 -
Pros: Best Graphics/Processor,trademark PS games (mainly RPGs like final fantasy), Motion Sensitive Controller, Free online play
Cons: Most expensive ($600!), Not many games out currently (in my opinion only heavenly sword looks good), Motion Sensor Controller is low tech compared to Wii's remote.
Xbox360-
Pros: Xbox live is amazing, Good Wireless Controller, some good games out currently (Gears of War, DoA4, Dead Rising, Oblivion), Good Graphics, in one year HALO 3!!
Cons: Some 360's randomly freeze up, online play still has a subscription fee, controller is weak compared to PS3 and Wii's, cheaper model dosen't come with harddrive, so you have to spend more money (good version costs $400)
Wii-
Pros: Amazing Controller, Infinate Controller Addons in the future Very Good Nintendo Games Coming out (various mario, Metroid Prime 3, Super Smash Bros. Brawl), Free online play, Download classic nintendo games (NES, SNES, N64), Possible Future connections to DS (?), Low Price ($250), "girlfriend factor" (games are good for all types of players, including girlfriends)
Cons: Few really good games out (only LoZ, Red Steel and Call of Duty look good to me), Graphics are weak compared to other consoles, "softcore" (does not appeal to hardcore FPS gamers)
In conclusion, it's really a matter of if you would rather spend a large sum of money to play a couple really good hardcore games (PS3), pay a little bit of money for cuter - although really fun games (Wii), or focus on online play, and go inbetween with a 360.
Personally, if you're willing to pay $600 for a PS3, I would suggest you just spend on that both a 360 and a Wii for the same price.
But it's all up to you in the end.

I think they are all marvolous. But the PS3 comes out on top. It's got the best graphics, and great games. But Wii and XBOX 360 are right behind it. It's got GREAT graphics (better than PS3's and Wii's) and it's got cordless controllers and vibration. The PS3 wasn't able to have vibration because it burnt a hole right through the disk. I'm not sure if Wii has vibration, but it is awesome. It's like you're in the real world. It's definetely not as good as PS3 or XBOB 360 though. Although a PS3 is 500-500 dollars, it is still the best sestym ever. If not that, then the XBO 360. Get the Wii after you get a PS3 or an XBOX 360. It's definetely not going to be as big of a hit as PS3 and XBOX 360. Anyway, anyone you get has great games and will give the fun of a lifetime. I don't have any of these products because they are way too $expensisive$. Right now I'm just trying to get as many games as I can for PS2 before they stop selling games for it.

xbox 360 came out first which gives it the advantage of having more games available at a better price than ps3. The wii is quite a bit of fun to play as you have to move the furniture and get off your *** to play. Only draw back is that you can only really move left and right in the games using the sensor technology. To move foreward and backward you still need the controls. I see a lot of potential for this technology though. The PS3 is way over priced for the saturday gamer and this will eventually hurt ps3.

You should get the Wii. I own one myself and it is the greatest! The pointing is great for Red Steel. The motion is great for Wii Sports and Zelda: TP. PS3 is overpriced and isn't fun. XBOX 360 is right in the middle of PS3 and Wii. It has great graphics and fun games. But I would still choose Wii over all of them.

my guy has the 360 and has had no problems and its awesome, the wii is releasing a new handgrip as the remote strap broke and lots of people ended up beaming it into the tv screen as for the playstation- I wouldnt bother yet as the company always puts out the product then worries about fixing it after thousand bought the crappy version- and with all the new technology and how hard they had to push to make the release date-I'd lay money its not right
