No. Your computer address is totally different (and separate)from your phone number. But make sure you've got a good firewall anyway - try ZoneAlarm.

It depends.

If you have Bellsouth DSL, they usually make the password to your DSL account your phone number, so if I ALSO know your Email address, then I can at least hack into your email account, and depending on how your DSL Router is setup, I may also be able to hack into your Router.

Your best bet would be to change your password to your DSL account, if you're still using the default.

This is all assuming of course that you're using Bellsouth DSL or that your DSL provider uses the same techniques.

My Cable connection (yes I have both) uses the Mac Address of the Cable Modem, so that can't be hacked into so easily, but if you have a Cable Connection to the internet, then there is no way that I can get into your system just buy knowing your phone number.

Don't think they can since you phone number has nothing to do with you pc. The company the supplies you with your DSL should have security in place so that does not happen. I mean if someone was really, really, really smart in computer hacking why would they want to get into your pc? you know what i am saying... there are bigger and better things to hack than a personal pc.

Not unless they work for the your ISP or the TELCO.

If you work for your ISP they will be able to gather your IP details from ya phone number. However i cant see why anyone working onthe "inside" so to speak would even bother..

Other than that, Its impossible..

i dont see how....because many people dont have their phone number tied to their broadband service. its a totally seperate connection.
