If you are describing yourself as an intelligent, yet sensitive woman I think a man who is drawn to the arts -- writers, photographers, artists. I am that kind of woman. I found happiness with a writer.

Doesn't have to be an artist, though that could make for more interesting conversations. It just has to be someone who is naturally empathetic. someone who really does feel other peoples pain and distress. I'm that type of person and it just comes naturally to me not to add to anyones emotional burdens. Unless of course they have something that i need in which case I might use my powers for evil (Mwahahah).
But if you really are strong mentally then i'm confused. It would seem to me that mental strength is not just the ability to spot social patterns or figure out scientific principles but also will- power, persistence, moral fortitude... If you've got all that, how can you call yourself emotionally fragile? Unless you are recovering from trauma, I think you may be tougher than you sound.
Whatever your into, find a guy who's into that. I think you'll be fine.

Well, it depends on what the woman is expecting. Sometimes women get married expecting they will be able to change what they do not like about their partners. Men, on the other hand, get married expecting things will remain the same. So... I guess the best partner for you would be one that respects who you are regardless of your looks. More than respect, you may want a guy who does not want to change you ;) Remember, kindness is worth more than intellect; you will need a person who will respect and support you, not one who will use his intellect to put you down or to abuse you. Compassion goes a long way :)

Probably a highly educated intellectual who will have real and meaningful discussions about things, yet will have the brain not to emotionally abuse her. Someone with lots of self-control who doesn't get moody or outrageously angry.

I'm going with what Juila said.

A very kind, emotionally mature, gentleman would probably be best. If you find him, please send him over. ;-)
