Nah. They will always be around but most rock fans consider the Rolling Stones to be the World's Greatest. Although, most of the members are dead and are kept alive through electricity and pupet strings.

They are not the greatest rock band, but Rick Rubin (producing their next album), will help them make a number 1 metal album of the year.

like most bands that go mainstream, they realize that things were better before they soldout so they'll come back and do the stuff that made them a great band, and hopefully they go back to there roots.

I think as long as they don't sabotage themselves, they'll be pretty close .. but they seem to be doing a good job or ruining their rep all by themselves
