Jehovah's Witnesses are the most active preachers of bible "good news" in the history of mankind. Their publications "The Watchtower" and "Awake!" are easily the widest circulated religious publications in the world, at 27 million and 32 million per issue.

Once these publications leave the hands of Jehovah's Witnesses, there is no way to control their use or misuse. Witnesses hope that they will be used to build faith and knowledge about the bible and God's will and purposes, but they cannot assure the respectful use of their publications.

I have, sadly, seen our literature in many unhappy places. I never understand why people who aren't going to read our magazines accept them. If you see our books, Bibles, magazines etc. in inappropriate I can almost promise you it was not left by a Witness.

On the subject of odd placing for religous materials. When My Dads van was stolen, we found it with the thiefs Boots, Hard Hat(HE had exchanged them for my Dad's) and a pamphlet from a church, possibly his, with scriptures about not stealing highlighted.
