What is the best area of Dublin to stay for pub crawls on St Patty's?

Going between the 15 and the 20 of March and would like a hotel situatued close to the main pubs in an area where I can crawl/stumble back to the hotel.

Any Hotel in the city centre will do, city centre is not so big so you will never have 2 far to crawl.
