They are scared of rejection. some girls are really mean when someone asks them out, so it makes guys a little scared to approach a girl. If there's a guy you like, ask him out

Because you women stomp our hearts into the dirt every chance you get.
Look between the ages of 15 and 21 I asked out, what, maybe 30 women? Only one ever said yes, in spite of me being "such a nice guy", the kind women always say "I wish my boyfriend was like you" etc.
After that many "no's" guys have no ego left. They just see women as heartless monsters who are only out for a guy who is best to show off to their friends.
Of course it is different now that I am older. I would do much better now I think because women are looking for the nice, responsible guy. I don't want to hear any 30-something women "boo hoo I can't find a nice guy" when they probably were inundated with them 10 years before and told them all to pi$$ off while they went and banged some jerk.
Oh yeah and by the way when the girl then tells OTHER people so they can make fun of you for even asking?
Nice....
Chandra can go rot. I'm sure she's long forgotten who I am, but I'll never forget what she did to humiliate me for having the nerve to ask her.
Now I'm going to have to tell my wife that story. Don't think she's ever heard it.

Because of the big, awful word of no. No one likes to be rejected, especially men. The hardest thing for men is to start up a simple convo, but most times men dont know what to say to break the ice. Plus women if said to the wrong thing, access is denied! (meaning bases of conversation).

Fear of rejection. but not all men are like that. Men, women...it doesn't make a difference. Men are just as scared of rejection as women are. It really depends on the individual. Maybe he is just really shy or waiting for the right time, who knows ( except himself of course).

Lindsy, yes some men are scared but definitely NOT all of us guys. Any guy that's shy will be timid, nervous and be scared to ask a gurl out - got that? Cheers!

They get tired and beat down over the years of getting rejected or they are shy or they know how everything has to be just so perfect for a girl and anything we might say to mess it up will end in atrocities or we might not like you and your not as hot as you think you are or your so hot that we think your are out of our league....it could be bunches of reasons....just ask the guy that you think should ask you out. He might tell you his reason.

It happens to everyone not just men. It's the nerves that they get right before they talk to a girl that they really like that get them flustered. It's also the risk of being embarrassed and/or rejected.
