That always bothers me, butI keep forgetting to find out!
Very annoying advert that.
I will try and find out and get back to you :)

The lyrics of a popular Christmas song "Santa Baby" by Eartha Kitt makes mention of a sable: "Santa Baby, slip a sable under the tree, for me." In this usage it refers to an article of clothing such as a coat made of the fur of the sable.

A sable coat is a particularly soft and beautiful coat. They are very expensive. Not too mention that a lot of small rodent like animals have to die to make a coat. Anyway, this is sort of like "Diamonds are a Girl's Best Friend". It's about a woman promising that she'll be "good" if Santa to leaves her a very expensive gift...

A sable in the song refers to a fur. The sable (Martes zibellina) is a small mammal, closely akin to the martens, living in northern Asia from the Ural Mountains through Siberia and Mongolia to Hokkaidō in Japan. It has achieved fame for its fur, which is integrated into various clothes fashions. Sables range in color from tan to black, black being the most prized.

A sable is a VERY, very costly and elegant fur.

(The sort of thing you ask for, when mink is your everyday wear for going to the supermarket.)

If I remember correctly, sables were the sort of thing that only royalty could AFFORD to wear----and I think a full-length coat now will set you back on the order of $30,000 USD or more (by comparison, you can get a really decent mink for about $5,000 USD).

Don't get your hopes up really high.

Maggie may I just say you look beautiful darling! I am so glad Santa has such wonderful staff this christmas season. Would you mind asking the big jolly man if he could leave one of his "helpers" under my tree? Not you of course your needed else where. But an elf or helper that knows the art of a good massage? Maybe some one that also gives a great pedicure? All this shopping and baking and pre-parties has gotten me down right beat!

a fur garment made from the coat of a mammal of the same name.
Bit out of date now I guess.
But probably up to date at the time the lyrics were written.
