Ok, so I have an iPod nano and it wont update which is a problem im sure they might be able to fix. Its barely under warranty.

Do they replace your iPod with another one, when you take it in to be serviced? I know that nintendo does that with its DS lite.

Also, I wanted to know whats something I should say if I wanted them to just replace this one instead?

Where did you get yours at? I got mine at Walmart and I had the same problem with my 30 gb! They actually took it back and gave me another one!

As long as you have your packaging and reciept with serial number on it most Major Retails will exchange or take it back. Major being: Walmart, Kmart, Meijer, Target, Kohls, Sears, and JcPenneys

I got a 30GB video when it first came out, a month later, it didn't work. I returned it back to best buy and they gave me a brand new one. So, it is possible for it to be returned.

Just make sure you have the receipt and the box and all the accessories.

And if they want to replace it, I say get a new nano or add a little more money and get a video!

If you don't have the packaging or receipt, I wouldn't give you anything. You could have gotten it for $50 on eBay and are now trying to rip off the store. I'd be more responsible next time if you want someone else to fix something.
I'm sure you saying "Give me a new one" isn't going to get you what you want. Next time you buy (if you even did this time) an expensive item, have the brains to keep the proof.
