Christmas's traditional colours are red and green, with silver and gold accenting them. I've seen shades-of-mauve Christmases also and blue-and-silver Christmases -- though the colors tend to be associated with Chanukah more than Christmas.

I think the primary colours plus green are considered more-than-acceptable with white as an accent (the traditional colour of the Saturnalia). The point is that because Christmas was plunked down around the solstice in 336 AD, it holds a dual role as mass celebrating the Nativity AND the rebirth of the sun (by 25 Dec, the days are getting longer again), therefore any light and bright or merry colours do the job.

From Early Modern Calendar for England, Scotland, and Wales:
"Christmas (birth of Christ; moved to Dec. 25 in 336 A.D. to take advantage of the Roman festival of Saturnalia; color: white)".
