Hello, I am giving my sister who is 14 years old an I pod for Christmas. She is leaving to go to Disney World tomorrow an I wanted to load the I Pod with music that she may like. However I am not teen girl that goes to a middle school and am having trouble Figuring out whats "In". I know that shes not in to rap. Any suggestions would be greatly be appreciated. I have a 14 year old daughter and let me tell you what she loves in music. Surprisingly, sound track music from Pirates of the Carribean. Others, Hannah Montana, aka Miley Cirus, Raven and the Cheetah Girls. And any music from High School Musical. Hope this helps. It is all really good and mild content for that age group.

I am about her age. I would go with the top 10 songs on Yahoo! Music. Is she likes High School Musical, load the soundtrack? Also do Vanessa Hudgens single "Come Back to Me" and/or the Hannah Montana soundtrack....if she likes that kinds of music. I hope I helped. Happy Holidays!! :)

She's into rap if it's on tv. She'll think she's hard yo from the streetz or something if Chamillionaire comes on. Anyway, load it up with pop punk like My Chemical Romance or introduce her to good music, stuff you'd listen to. She'll say it sucks but will only delete 90% of it and will grow to understand what's good in secret. It's the sure fire way to make sure she drops the Green Day stuff for sure. Go for it.

Well thank god shes not like every other high school and into rap. going from their you have to big avenues. There is stuff like kelly Clarkson and other Pop artists (Christina Agulera, Justin Timberlake) or there is a rock side. If you get the rock side its going to be a tough call. Theres a huge spectrum. I'd get a cd like Now thats what I call music. Or raid her cd collection.

try for mixes like the NOW collections,they mostly have pop and almost no rap,they also have a little country, and mostly a good choice of music collections(the newest ones are 22 and 23),also try and find out her favorite movies and get the soundtrack
