Yoda all the way man!
If he can kick everyone in the head and lift an X-wing out of a swamp when he's 800 years old.....when he was at his peak, he would be a killer!

They wouldn't fight, they'd both sit down and smoke pipes or just nod at each other and go their seperate ways. Gandalf is more powerful though, Yoda is just an old martial arts guy, but Gandalf is something like a divinely created being in the lotr lore.

Yoda: "Go down this forest trail I must."
Gandalf: "You shall not pass."
Yoda [Jedi hand wave]: "Step aside you will."
Gandalf [grows larger as the sunlight dims]: "You will not break my resolve."
Yoda [drawing lightsaber] "Then battle we must."
[lightsaber hums to life]
Gandalf: [Says something that sounds elvish.]
[Gandalf's staff crystal brightens]
[Yoda stretches out his left hand and unleashes a bolt of purple lightning. Gandalf's staff glows brightly with some white defensive energy which absorbs the lightning.]
Yoda: "Power you have. With my light saber, defeat you I will."
[A giant eagle suddenly swoops in from above, and swallows Yoda whole, like a mouse. Yoda's light saber falls to the ground, de-activating automatically.]
Gandalf: "Well, that settles that."

Gandalf cause he's the coolest. not that Yoda isn't cool, but I prefer Gandalf.
on second thoughts.. why would they fight? they're both the good guys!

Tough question, one is magical w/his staff he can do anything and the other is a jedi knight w/mind control and a light saber. I think I would go w/Yoda, if he puts mind control on him he might even get Gandalf to take himself out.

I'd say they both fight and kill themselves. Then, if his time wasn't over yet, Gandalf would come alive again and win. I'd probably be cheering for Yoda, though.

Question is can Gandalf call for help from the forest, he knows a thing or two that old fellow. I can't see yoda winning to be honest. Gandalf is the uber in my opinion he was created to be like an angel wasn't he, or something similar? (Sorry I can't rmemer the name) GANDALF ALL THE WAY- good question!
