1. It is due out in 2008, but that could be pushed to 2009. The are still working on the script.

1. They are developing a new movie, but it's still in concept stage... the general rumor is that they are going to do a Kirk and Spock story from the past right after graduating from the academy... it being their first meeting and adventure together. They'll recast the roles accordingly.

2. Enterprise got cancelled- season 4 is the last.

3. No new series planned, the movie is it. The future of the franchise likely rests with the new movie. If the movie doesn't do well, it might kill studio interest in keeping the franchise going with movies or tv.

there will probably not be another star trek series. enterprise was the last one. and the only reason why that one got made is his wife from it and got the networks to air it. the show enterprise was something gene was thinking about doing but never finished it because he died. i have not heard of a movie. and honestly i think that star trek is done. i have been watching it since 1978 and i really don't think they can do anymore. i mean there was the original show, movies (8 or 9), next genereation, ds-9 voyager, and enterprise.

Ratings for Enterprise started strong, but declined rapidly. The show continued to lose ratings during the fourth season, and Paramount canceled the show in early 2005. There is no next series yet. The film shall be released in 2008 and is based upon Gene Roddenberry's science fiction franchise. The plot is not available yet.

The next Start Trek film is coming together. JJ Abrams (Lost, Alias, MI:3) has been named as the director. It is slated for a Summer '08 release.

Enterprise met its demise over a year ago. You may have been the only person watching it after the first few episodes. It contradicted Star Trek history too much for my taste.
