when you click into the web search bar, stored information comes up onto the screen. this is store info from different titles, locations etc that was asked for during a web search. this is not in the yahoo search history

So when you start typing, a little dropdown menu appears under that with all of the information you have searched before?

You can simply delete it when the dropdown menu apperas, hit the down or up arrow on your keyboard and press the "Delete" key once it has highlighted the search item.

Tools,Internet Options,General tab,clear history,also clear your cookies,and temp files at least weekly.

try to use windows washer. this is the best software.
this cleans your cookies, history, temp files,pop up list(this appears in the address bar), also wmp playlist etcccc...

tools> internet options>delete cookies, delete files (uncheck or leave the 'delete offline content' unchecked)
