He's in the construction business and NEVER buys clothes for himself. Has been wearing a jacket from the 70s probably, really old. So I got him a Carhartt coat with quilted lining.

Of course thats a nice gift. Those can be a little costly too. Your dad will know that you care and want him to have a nice work coat. Plus he also knows that you didn't just buy any coat, but one that is well known and great. He will love that. Thats such a thoughtful gift. Merry Christmas!!

Men love Carhartt jackets. That is why he has the one from the 70's and it will probably be hard for him to part with it, so do not be offended if he does not wear yours all the time. It is a guy thing, like a wallet, they love the old ones cuz it is conformed to their butt and will not part with them until they literally disintegrate!

That was a great idea!My father likes motor bikes,I got him some nice shirt so he doesn't walk around in a leather biker jacket all the time..

i think is a good idea....my mom always buys her boyfriend cloths all the time cause he never buys cloths for him self, and he loves the gifts she buys him
