You have to force yourself to stay awake through the day for as long as possible, delaying sleep until late in the afternoon/evening.

It's really hard to do, but just pretend you're having to pull an all-nighter for school. Get a friend or family member to help you stay awake. Plan an activity to keep you going.

It worked for me. Good luck to you...it's a vicious cycle to try to get off of.

Have you ever heard of a pill called Melatonin?? It's now very popular in China. I'm night owl too and take that medicine almost every day. It is said that Melatonin exists naturally in our brain and regulates our internal clock. It works well on me. Hope it does good to you too:)

If your schedule allows for it, try just staying awake for one extra hour each day, until it pushes your sleep time to the night.

once you wake up you will have to stay up all day, and all night and the next day till the bedtime you would prefer, then off to bed you go, its tough but that should do it. say you woke up at 6 pm so your up for about 28 hours to get to bed at 10 pm the next night, sounds like fun but it works
