I read this in a trivia section of a magazine and wanted to have a look at it but I can't find it on the net. Can someone firstly tell me if this is true? or whether it is an urban legend? Then send me a link to it?

This goes way back, and was not limited to Coca-Cola only. It is called subliminal seduction, and the explicit imagery is actually buried somewhere in the ad, where it is not noticeable to the naked eye. Sometimes the word 'sex' would be implanted, other times explicit images. For example, the images were placed in the ice cubes in the drink in the pictures. Is it true? Well, if there were a way that retailers could increase the effectiveness of their ads, don't you think they would use it?
