The baby can die and you can not pass him/her. This can go on for weeks. Usually if a Dr. catches it he will do a D&C.

With my M/C at 7w3d I was given the option to wait a week to see if I could pass it naturally. If I could they were going to do the D&C

I had it on my own at home.

I had contractions and lots of blood with clots. I bleed for 13 days.

Yes it is.
With my first pregnancy the baby passed at 6 weeks and I didnt know it until I was 10 weeks and got an ultrasound. I didnt miscarry naturally so I needed a D&C.
It is possible to bleed out with a miscarriage and not know it, because if its early enough in the pregnancy it can be mistaken for a heavy period.

It depends. I was almost three months pregnant when doctors did my first ultrasound. They found that there was no heart beat. I don't know if they considered it a miscarriage until there was blood later or if they considered it a miscarriage from the point at which the heart didn't develop. I didn't actually bleed until a week or so after finding out there was no heartbeat and they had scheduled for a D&C.

It is possible to miscarry and not ever know you were pregnant. I was 5-6 weeks pregnant and miscarried and my bleeding was just like my regular period. Had I not taken 4 HPT I would have assumed it was my period.

It is possible. My friend started bleeding at about 11 weeks, but the doctors said the miscarriage really occurred around 9 weeks. Not everyone starts bleeding right away.

It is possible very early on in a pregnancy to miscarry and not know it in cases dealing with a blighted ovum or a chemical pregnancy.

I believe so 'cause it looked like I missed carried a couple of weeks ago (there not sure yet) I had no signs or syptoms. When you are really early in the pregnancy sometimes the baby can just absorb back into your body, and leave the y. sac and g. sac

I hope all goes well-God Bless

i have had a chemical pregnancy. i had 3 very faint pos test and then every day i was testing again and i kept getting negs. My period was a week and a half late. and when my period came it was the worst feeling i had ever had the cramps were unbarable and i was bleeding bad. i went to the doc and they told me thats what i had. its when the egg doesnt get attached to your uterus in time and gets flushed out but you have all the hormons of being pregnant and every day its slowly goes away. im still trying and havent gotten it yet and that was 3 months ago. but i think this month i might have gotten it. and i hope you did have one im sorry if you did

You can miscarry and not know it and be left with tissue that can cause pain and infections.
