do you think that coldplays fix you intoduction of vocals sound a little like the pixies 'where is my mind' or is just me...
err another one, does the introduction of vamous sound suspiciously almost like about a girl or is just me?

it does... rhytm and everything just thats theres more layers of sound...
slts sounds like bostons more than a feeling too though...

Hmm possibly. The chorus to U-mass is a dead ringer for Smells like teen spirit, though.

I've noticed this in other songs, too. I can't remember just now which ones, but sometimes they copy so well that I think it is a different song playing for a few seconds.
Try not to overanalyze, just enjoy the music.

I never heard the Pixies 'where is my mind', but I love Coldplay. It's one of my favs. There's nothing wrong with analyzing music, it shows that you have a good ear. There are worse things you could be doing...

I don't know those specific songs, but I have heard some that sound rather alike... it's usually because one group liked a technique or style another group used and added some of that to their own recording.

Ive loved the pixies from the start,i dont think coldplay sound like
them on any songs.However you are entitled to your opinion.
