I don't know about ducks, but for certain you can train rabbits.
A friend of mine lived in an apartment, she got two rabbits that urinates/defecates only on the drainage hole of the toilet. Well it makes her life alot easier than having those rabbits poo everywhere. She trained them since they were bunnies. Good luck!
