Live footage for the "Snow ((Hey Oh))" video was shot during the band's concert at both the Continental Airlines Arena in New Jersey on both 17 October and 18 October 2006. The audience was given pen lights on the way into the show, and Flea instructed everyone to light them up during the song so it could be filmed for the music video. Paper snow came down on the audience mid-song. [1] [1]

Another part of the video was previously shot by Tony Kaye. Pictures of this shoot can be seen here. Although this part was shot as being the actual music video, Warner Bros. Records decided on not using that video and opted for a live version instead. [2]
