Okay weird I know, but when I wasn't pregnant I would simply prop my leg up on the opposing shower wall and shave away. I have tried this pregnant (I am in my third trimester) but almost slipped and fell as my balance aint so hot right now. Sitting in the tub worked okay, but my belly is huge and it is hard to get around it to shave this way. How do you shave your legs with ease during pregnancy?

you can try shaving before you get in the shower. Sit in a chair next to the bath tub. Prop your leg on the ledge and use the runnin focet to clean the razor. Or is you can't reach the water fill a glass up with water put on the ledge or hold it and rince the razor

I am 38 weeks and just suffer shaving my legs. I have a stall shower with a little seat that I put my leg up on... so it's not too bad and I keep my balance. The only other thing I would do, if you have a bathtub, sit on the edge and try.

Otherwise, the 2 options are getting your partner to do the dirty work... or wait a couple of weeks and have your legs waxed. If I wasn't in the "any day now" stage of pregnancy, I would definitely get my legs waxed!

No. I shaved until I went into labor with my daughter at 41 weeks. It was summer though so I really had no choice. I'm 37 weeks now, and still shaving. It's not easy to do, but it's possible. And I've got a rather large belly! I find it much easier to do in the bath, so I've been taking a bath every few nights (in addition to my showers!) and shaving then. It's a nice way to relax anyway. The bath, that is. Not shaving. LOL.

When I was pregnant with my daughter, my husband and I had a house that only had a shower stall. Shaving was near impossible once I was in my third trimester. So, I had my legs waxed a few weeks before my due date. Painful, yes, but well worth it. It was inexpensive, as well.

Put some faith in that partner. If he can shave his face he can shave your legs. Think about it: We shave a couple of times a week and they shave nearly every day. Just warn him of the knees and ankles. If he loves you he will either help or give you immunity from this dreaded task. After all you trust him(.) don't you? Remember to smile. This could lead to further satisfaction.

I feel your pain! I had to break down and buy an electric razor during my 3rd trimester. Then, I'd just sit on my bed and do it. It wasn't the most comfortable, but I did it every few days--otherwise, I wore pants! Be glad it's winter and not August like it was when I was in my 3rd trimester!

Congrats and good luck!

Towards the end I hardly shaved at all and just wore pants LOL
But I would just end up bending over to do it (which was an obsticle) or having DH do it, or getting an electric shaver then sit on the toilet and do it. You'll find lots of creative ways to get it done when it needs to be.

How about using Nair or Neat? You just wipe it on and wash it off...

(Yea, some women tell me its hot or burns, but, think of the alternative, falling and losing the baby!!)...

I dont think hubby will give too much of a hoot, if you happen to have a few hairs while pregnant...Afterwards, you can shave them and be the "woman" he wants again :)

I wish you well..

get someone else to shave them for you.
if youre like me, thats a huge no.
maybe get them waxed when youre in your 38th week or so....the hair will stay off for at least 4-6 weeks so by the time you need to shave again the baby will be out. your belly will be smaller and it will be easier.

Having someone else shave my legs? Yeah, right. I suggest waxing. It lasts longer.
