He indeed is the best spin bowler(non controversial in playing cricket--clean bowling action) ever. Also one of the best bowlers ever.
A great cricketer and a sportsman.
Warne retiring brings the end to a glorious
cricketing career .
Both Jordan and Warne are champion sportspersons in their
respective sport. They can't be compared, both are equally great.

He is was and always will be the best and i wish he would reconsider and stay in international cricket. This shows the great respect that he has around the world as I am an Englishman and i am upset that he`s retiring. He is the best, but controversies followed and was a bit of showman. News is not bigger than Michael Jordan's as he has greater following

Where cricket is played, it is indeed a sad day. and sports fans in those countries couldn't care less about Michael Jordan. You can't compare news of Jordan's quitting with Warnie's retirement. These are two great players in their respective sports.

Though Warne was involved in scandals many times and there were lot of controversies during his carrier, one must admit the fact that he is the best leg spinner ever in the world of cricket

Warne's is the best spinner. He could fox any batsman. The world is going to miss the smooth, flawless and effortless action, leisurely walking and delivering 6 different balls in an over. His range of variety made him special and yeah the cricket fans all over the world are going to miss him. Flipper, googly and classical leg spin, oh yes, one will miss you Warne.

No i don't think that warne is as popular as Michael Jordon. Jordon's regiment affected the bulls so much that still they have not recover from it while australia will survive warne's retirement without much turmoil. We know of warne more because of his lifestyle.
