Before answering this question let me remind you that David is a very talented player of all times. Talking of the captaincy, i think he deserves it!!! he has got this wonderful ability to keep his calm even under pressurized conditions and at the same time deliver a consistent performance as a player. he makes sensible moves in right times and he appreciates the talent of every single player and encourages them. he doesn't get discouraged even when his team don't perform well and everyone starts criticizing India. He seeks advice from other experienced players and pays enough attention to the coach as well.
Aren't above said reasons enough to entitle him as the softest captain India ever had?????

although he looks soft he has a very firm attitude and a clear decision and also he always wills to listen 2 other's opinion
