You didn't really give details on how you found this dead bird. Was it placed on your car? did you hit the bird? Did it land on your car?
I'm not sure of your spiritual beliefs, so please forgive me if these practices go against your beliefs.
Whenever I find an animal that has been killed, I always release its spirit back to the earth, for the animal's sake.
If you accidentally hit the bird, you may want to apologize to the spirit of the bird, but if not, it could have been a sign that some negative things were going to happen.
I suggest smudging your shop and car, and perhaps even yourself. Again, not knowing your spiritual practices, it's hard to advise.

Some cultures beleive dead birds to be a bad omen. A lot of times people say if a crow lands on your property that is a sign of bad luck as well. They are all myths, old wives tales, and cultural superstitions that are made up throughout the ages.
I personally don't believe them but it depends on the person.

It means be a little more careful while driving and don't be so trusting with money. It has nothing to do with ghosts and goblins or hoodoos and voodoos like karma.

this sounds stupid butymaybe someone did some vodoo or something to you?...then again in many instances it seems like all the bad things happen at the same time.
