Nope, just don't list it as a reference when applying for other jobs.

While most employers insist on at least a two week notice when leaving a job, it is not necessary. If you are SURE OF THE NEW JOB give Bath and Body Works at least a two week notice. Even if you don't feel that it is worth it now, it may down the road. Remember you make the difference in how you will be received as a potential new employee. If I saw someone who left employment with out notice, I might skip over that person and think "if he/she will walk out with out any consideration for the company--why bring them in to start with". At the end of the holiday season retailers usually go into a slump and employees get their hours reduced or get laid off, if you know that you have a job to go to, perhaps a two week notice would let someone else keep work hours or even their job. Good luck

You actually have to be 18 to work at Bath and Body Works, sorry! The manager or whoever you spoke to should have clarified that right away. However, when she was talking about the employment history boxes, she probably meant the reference boxes. Those definitely need to be filled out. Not being able to turn in an application because you didn't have an employment history doesn't make sense. Hope you end up finding a job!

Depends on their contract and wether or not you signed on already. Most places require at least a two week notice, but this is not always the case. Its stated in the hiring contract. Although it will not have any bearing on your employment history, you should at least provide the employer with a thank you letter for his consideration and a reason for not tkaing the job. Cheer's!

No, you don't even need to put BBW on your resume. In fact if you did, at most all they can do is verify the dates you worked. Absolutely no personal information or job performance information is given so quit on.

Technically, if you quite BEFORE you start you never worked there. Meaning, you declined their offer. And by the way... there is no "employment record" per say that follows you around.

No - because you in effect have no work record with them. And since there is no central database for that info, you can choose NOT to list on applications and resumes any job you choose.
