paul hennesy has died in real life ,does anyone know how they wrote him out of the show as he died whilst filming of a heartattack
and i have not seen the episode,

he died in the middle of filming the show, so they had to refilm the episode.
He wasn't in the episode obviously, in it they said he had gone to the shop to buy stuff for breakfast and had collapsed in one of the aisles and died. at the start of the episode his wife got a call from the hospital saying he was dead and they never mentioned specifially what he died of, but i know in real life he had an undiagnosed heart condition.

They wrote him out by dying from a heartattack. He went out to get some groceries and had a heartattack in the grocery store. Kate Hennesy received the phone call and rushed out the house. She comes back and gives the kids the news. The show shows the kids handling it. It also shows the repass, the grandparents coming onto the show.

They wrote him out in the same way (well, not the SAME way, but heart attack wise) that he died in real-life. The story was, he went to the store for Cate and had a heart attack in one of the aisles. Cate gets a phone call telling her whats happened.......and so on.

BTW John Ritter died from an aortic dissection, an abnormal separation of tissues within the walls of the aorta. He was 54, just a week before his 55th birthday.

yes he died of a heart attack on the show as well I think. It was sudden, and they just got a phone call. They never show him on that episode.
