I used to love them... Still do, only now I listen to them on cd. My favourite tracks were 'Solid Bond in Your Heart' and 'Speak Like a Child". Paul Weller was great!

Paul Weller is awesome! I really liked his former band The Jam as well. He's a very under rated musician.

The Style Council was a fantastic band. Paul Weller has a great catalog of music from his work with the Jam, Style Council and his solo efforts.
I've seen him perform live three times (post Style Council) and he was great.

My college roommate was a huge fan of The Jam and got me interested in Style Council, and I was hooked after that. Personally "Headstart for Happiness" was always by favorite but I admit it's almost impossible to be in a bad mood after hearing "Shout To The Top". Good subject choice!!!
