Go to a quiet place in your house, school or library that you will less likely be distracted (no TV, radio, noise, etc.) Study in short intervals such as studying for 20-30 minutes, then taking a 15 minute break to stretch, eat a snack, or listen to music. Then go back to studying. I learned in psychology that this is the best way to study. You can only concentrate for about 20 minutes at a time. So study for only 20 minutes at a time, take a break and go back to it. Taking notes or highlighting from your books are also helpful for me. If I have to do more than just read, it makes me have to focus more. Good Luck!!

I study best during daytime because i need some distant distraction & night time is dead silent. I study with music, but it's sort of tricky because i may end up bobbing my head or singing to the music, but on the other hand if the music is too silent i may feel sleepy. Classical/instrumentals are great to listen to while studying. Reading out loud also works. Also take little breaks in between, don't study for hours & hours on end.

Ok so when u start day dreaming when ur studying, just take a break, do something u like, and then go back to studying. And don't study for long hours, cause then u wouldnt be able to concentrate. For example, u can study for an hour, take a 30 min break, study for another hour, and then another 30 min break

Try listening to instrumental music while studying. I have always had a problem focusing because there just wasn't enough to focus on. My brain wanted more stimuli. So adding music always helped me focus. Music with words, though, would be distracting.

Try reading what your studying aloud or writing it down several times. I have had this problem so i tried reading aloud and i found that its easier to pay attention and writing down key facts in the order of importance helps to retain information as well.
